Rutherford, dear alma mater

Up to thee this song we raise,

Thou our guide and inspiration,

Ever worthy of our praise.

 

Many memories thou will leave us,

Many friendships strong and true;

Much sound knowledge thou dids’t give us,

Guide our paths the long years through.

 

Sportsmanship thou too hast taught us,

How to fight a fair clean fight;

Whether vanquished or victorious,

Ne’er to fail thy blue and white.

 

Alma mater, thus we thank thee

For thy guidance, wise and strong.

Ever proud we’ll be to claim thee,

Proud that we to thee belong.
